I am giving 2 stars ONLY for the maintenance crew! Mike, Kaylee, and Luis are awesome! They are all so friendly. Any requests I have ever needed have been dealt with pretty quickly. GO MAINTENANCE CREW!!! You 3 all deserve a raise( HINT, HINT)
This place is said to be luxury living but I think that would include the complex in its entirety( maybe not) because there has been a major dog poop problem forever. Nothing will ever change with that. It's pretty bad when you can't even take your own dog outside without stepping in it everywhere! I realize this is apartment living and there are pros and cons just like everywhere but The Meadows definitely has more CONS than pros. The walls are not soundproof so you can hear everything your neighbors are doing and parties at all hours of the night is uncool. Also, when you have a garage but can't even park in front of it because your neighbors above you let their dog go potty on the patio and then try to mop it up. The remainder of poopy water and pee come dripping down off the patio and onto our cars! DISGUSTING!!!! PLUS the smell lingers into our garage so it always smells. Management sends out flyers about this stuff but then never act upon it and deal with the situation. The flyers are just scare tactics to make them feel big! All talk.
The parking situation has and always will be a HUGE joke for everyone. Not only is there limited space for residents but no parking for any guests at all. Go park at the Frontrunner station and save yourself a headache.
The money you pay to live in this place is way overpriced. Whatever the management tells you in the office is only base rent. Plan on adding in another $300-400 per month for rent.
Base rent + MANDATORY cable and Internet(which is a joke, never hardly works) for $125 a month. Utilities included in rent are:
Water, sewer, trash, pest control, property taxes, leasing fee, delivery fee of utilities bill to your mail box and a newly added CAM fee. Yes, a $6.50 fee to have this delivered to your mailbox!!! This place is a greedy money hungry and Overrated apartment complex! They decide the fees paid for utilities( not the city). I advise that before you sign anything and have your life saving sucked dry that you read ALL of the fine print first. Because this place will try and coax you with what you want to hear. You will get baited like a worm on a hook and then they got ya. A point of no return UNLESS you have thousands of dollars to buy out your lease and free yourself of anymore agony. Trust me I have checked around and there are many, many other " Luxury Living" apartments, townhomes, condos, homes, and even hotels hundreds of dollars cheaper to live. If you ever need to talk to management I suggest just speaking to Tessa before Kayla! She is always friendly, has a smile on her face, and will go out of her way and do whatever is in her power to help you. I think she actually does care about the residents here. Kayla on the other hand is not for the residents. She makes promises and then doesn't keep them or follow through. She ONLY returns calls or emails when it's most convenient for her. And, sometimes she won't return them at all. It depends on how important she thinks you are!
