My wife and I made some good friends here, but we wonât be staying as it is far too expensive for poor maintenance and management, little space, and a long list of extra fees.
Asked for a copy of our lease agreement over email and it was completely ignored. My wife finally navigated through the minefield of dog poop on the lawns and went to the office to ask for a copy and had to wait for 40 minutes to get it. The lease agreement is 80 pages long, but it basically says âwe can charge you for anything we see fit.â This includes charging you for ANYTHING you have on your patio other than chairs. While maintenance requests and emails regarding my lease were ignored, the staff DID find time to tell me to take down my American Flag the day before Pioneer Day ð. The Meadows will also now be charging a âCAMSâ fee which is an HOA fee but they canât legally call it that since itâs apartment living. In reality, itâs just another way for the meadows to con you out of more money in addition to the $125 sub par internet, $30 parking fee, $13 Real Estate Tax Allocation, $70 for Sewage, $16 trash fee, $30 for water, and $6.50 service charge that adds nearly $300 depending on the month to your base rent before utilities. In addition to the new CAMS fee, expect to pay at least $300 in addition to your base rent. Iâve heard the move out process is a nightmare with numerous additional hefty charges and fees so I will update this with photos of our apartment and what they are fining us for repairs and the associated fees that will come after we move out.
