Biggest benefits on the Meadows are location, friendly staff, and the apartment spacious. Great great maintenance team !
Biggest draw back is
- normal moving out cost excessed security deposit and leaves renters to pays 100s+ out of pocket
-washer and dryer does not dry or wash very well, damp smell on clothes
- forced cable subscription
-internet connection quality
- little parking
- hard time following contract
- hard time following renters rights regarding inspections , was not given 24 minimum notice on at least once instance
- uses dumoso to pay rent and there is a fee each time
- ac does not work in well in bedrooms
Tip I would recommend filling out the prior to move in sheet to avoid any erroneous or bogus move out fees
one star review reason: Lost $100 + moving out
Completed a prior move-in condition assessment form and noted the apartment and paint and carpet were in messy conditions and had ants. They cancelled Cleaning Fee $100 and Partial Paint $160. But kept the other charges.
They noted that the $250 enzyme treatment was due to "The enzyme treatment and carpet cleaning are more for sanitation purposes than anything else. Due to you having a pet in the apartment we take measures to get rid of pet dander/bacteria's and prevent any smells or allergy issues with future tenants". If you do the math the pet deposit was $600 ($400 non-refundable) leaving you with $200, but the enzyme treatment for the pet is $250 dollars forcing every tenant with a pet ,no matter how responsible or clean, to make to pay $50 extra for cleaning move out fees. And this is just the basic cleaning and move our procedures. imagine if you do happen to have a few kids or a blemish or two.
The cost of moving out could run you hundreds of dollars.
