They did absolutely nothing and our roof is still leaking

This place is the worst!! when we first moved in supposedly a cleaning company cleaned the apartment but nope vents were dirty and we had ants everywhere, we called the office and they said they could get a company to come spray but it would be a few days, the ants were on the counter tops and floor, so I took care of it myself with spray so we could finish moving in. I noticed the baseboard turning black so I opened the laundry room door and there is a water heater and furnace opposite washer and dryer behind closed doors. I opened the doors and water is spraying everywhere luckily it had a drain in that room, but the black stuff on the baseboards were mold. We called the office and they said it wasn’t a big deal and they could fix it, that took another week to get done and a tone of inconvenience with people coming in and out. Then our washer and dryer stopped working so when the maintenance guy came to check them out and found out they were bad during him removing them he hit into the hallway wall and put two big holes in the wall decided to mud but not paint it. After all this they sent us a final bill move out bill saying we owed over $400 dollars on top of our deposit for paint and cleaning, This place will definitely rip you off and not even think twice about it. Please don’t rent here and besides they don’t enforce the parking either broken down cars and other vehicles parked in good parking spots for months.

I’ve been a resident at the Meadows for over two years and have enjoyed my time here. The leasing office has been friendly and accommodating (shout out to Lorena and Kayla!). The maintenance team has always responded to any issues promptly (another shoutout to Mike, Jose and Kaylee). The only minor drawback is if you live on the third floor, be prepared to climb stairs as there are no elevators on the property. But a great way to get your steps in!

(Translated by Google) Everything was fine until we realized they were charging us an extra fee for the gas, and no one was responding to it. I told management, and they told me I had to check with the company. I tried to contact them, but I haven't heard back. I'm sure I'll have an extra charge again next month. There are a lot of spiders; I'd actually say we're infested with spiders. The master bedroom window doesn't close completely, so we've noticed this on these cooler days. I can already imagine what it's like in the winter, and that "extra" fee will probably continue to rise due to the cold air coming in and the heating not stopping working. They're forcing us to pay 125 for internet that's useless. We're students, and it's greatly affecting our university work. When I arrived, I had to do a deep cleaning because the apartment really wasn't clean; there were juice bottles on the kitchen counters and in the dishwasher. When I mopped the floor, mud literally came out from all the dust, and the same with the furniture. The apartment is nice, but I think it should be better managed. (Original) Todo bien hasta que nos dimos cuenta que nos estaban cobrando una cuota extra en el gas y nadie responde sobre eso. Le comuniqué a la administración y me dijeron que tenia que verlo con la compañía, intente comunicarme con ellos y no he tenido respuesta. Estoy segura que el próximo mes nuevamente tendré un cargo extra. Hay muchas arañas, mas bien diría estamos infestados de arañas. La ventana del cuarto principal no cierra al 100% por lo tanto estos días mas frescos nos hemos dado cuenta. Ya me imagino como será en invierno y probablemente siga subiendo esa cuota “extra” debido al aire frío que entrara y la calefacción que no dejara de funcionar. Obligan a pagar 125 por un internet que no sirve para nada somos estudiantes y nos afecta un montón a la hora de hacer nuestros trabajos universitarios. Cuando llegue tuve que hacer una limpieza profunda porque realmente no estaba limpio el departamento, había envases de jugos en las muebles de la cocina y en el lavaplatos. Cuando pase el trapeador por el piso literalmente salía barro de tanto polvo que había, lo mismo con los muebles. El apartamento es lindo pero creo que debería tener una mejor administración.

Kayla is probably one of the best apartment managers.I've come across and i've rented most of my life. She keeps her eye on things.She makes things easy.Maintenance requests get handled promptly.The renewal lease process was a breeze.And I enjoy living here at meadows and american fork. Thank you so much Kayla you are why we chose another year.

Honestly, not the most impressive property or management. The breezeways are absolutely disgusting, dust, spiders, trash, everywhere. I keep joking to my fiancé about how this one jolly rancher is still in the same spot 3 months later. With all the spiders and webs, dust and bugs get caught and you’d think you’re in a haunted house. There is dog poop in various spots, which is up to the dog owners to clean up, but still tacky especially cuz I almost stepped in some. The Meadows just switched to a new portal to pay rent and I have called to get their help with registering but they don’t return voicemails promptly. The apartment itself is nice, 3rd floor has vaulted ceilings and the space is comfortable. Appliances work well. But debatable if it’s worth the ~$1,912/month for the 2 bed, 1 bath (including utilities, parking, their Real Estate tax, mandatory cable fee) Edit: the jolly rancher is gone lol and the breezeways got cleaned up. Thank you for the quick action. I also tried the app for the new portal and seems to be working now, +1 star.

We lived here for 2 years. Overall, we enjoyed our time here, but if I could do it all again, I would not choose this particular apartment complex. A couple of things I wish I knew before selecting this complex: 1. The washer/dryer they give you is electric and ventless. They are tiny and only allow for the smallest of loads. But most importantly, the ventless dryer is AWFUL. It would occasionally take SIX cycles to properly dry our tiny load. When we called maintenance, they were well aware of the issue and their only suggestion was to do a timed cycle and max it out and we would, multiple times. When we asked if we could bring in our own washer/dryer, they said no. 2. If you are planning to just live out your lease, you need to provide 60 day notice at least, even if planning to end lease on previously agreed upon date. I’m sure it’s in the fine print, so partly on us, but may be helpful for others moving in. When we moved out we had to pay for an extra month at a higher rate since it was “month to month” to meet that 60 day window. Additionally, like other comments mentioned we did feel like through the move out process we were nickel and dimed a bit as well. Definitely, some positives to living in this area, but again would not choose this complex if I could do it again. We had friends in neighboring complexes that had upgrades and some at a cheaper rent.
